Meet Your Facilitators
Our facilitators have extensive experience supporting older people and families through residential aged care and respite decisions. They understand the emotional weight these decisions can carry and are committed to providing practical, compassionate guidance in a supportive environment.

Joseph
Joseph is the Founder and Managing Director of My Care Journey and has more than two decades of experience across the aged care sector. His passion for supporting older people and families was shaped by his own experiences helping his grandmother navigate aged care and, more recently, supporting his parents through their own care journeys. Joseph understands firsthand how overwhelming and emotionally complex the system can feel and is passionate about making aged care information easier to understand and access.
Zabe
Zabe has spent the past decade working in aged care and community services. Her passion for aged care advocacy comes from supporting her own grandmother through home care, while navigating cultural barriers, language differences, and a system that was often difficult to understand. That experience shaped her commitment to ensuring older people and families do not miss out on support simply because the process is too overwhelming or inaccessible.
Alisha
Alisha is an experienced Care Manager who has supported hundreds of older Australians to navigate the aged care system and access support that genuinely meets their needs. Alongside her professional expertise, she also brings personal lived experience supporting family members through the aged care journey herself. Known for her warm, caring approach and extensive knowledge of aged care systems, Alisha is passionate about empowering older people and families to make informed decisions that feel right for their individual circumstances and care needs.
