Are you a government service?
No. We are an independent service provider offering support to older Australians, their families, and carers.
Where are you located?
We are based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, with a satellite presence on the New South Wales Central Coast. We also deliver many of our services nationwide via phone and video.
Are you a service provider?
No. We do not provide aged care services ourselves. Instead, we support older Australians and their families to understand their options and connect with the providers that best suit their needs and circumstances.
Who do you help?
We work with people across Australia, as well as their family and carers, at any stage of their care journey. While many of our clients are older Australians, our services also include support for those seeking access to medical specialists.
What makes you different from other services?
We are independent, values-driven, no-jargon, and person-centered. We partner with providers we know deliver quality services, but we’re not tied to any one provider, so our advice and support is always impartial.
Can you help me choose between different providers?
Yes. We offer guidance, advocacy, and support to empower you to make an informed decision, whether you are looking for aged care services or a specialist for a second opinion.
Do you offer services outside your local areas?
Yes. Our main offices are on the Gold Coast (QLD) and Central Coast (NSW), but most of our services are available Australia-wide via phone or video.
Are your services free?
Our services are private, boutique, fee-for-service offerings, allowing us to provide personalised, high-quality guidance tailored to your needs.
How do I book a service?
You can book directly through the website on the service page you’re interested in. If you’d like guidance before booking, our team can help you choose the right service and get you booked in.
Can I use my aged care funding to pay for your services?
Unfortunately, no. All our services are private, fee-for-service.
Is my information kept private and secure?
Yes. We have robust privacy procedures and protocols across all systems to protect your information and keep it secure. Our Privacy Policy provides more information about how we keep your information secure.
Do you work with carers and family members, or only directly with older people?
Yes, we work with carers and family members as well. Our support is for anyone involved in the care journey.
What if I just need a one-off chat, not ongoing support?
We can tailor our services to your needs. For one-off support, our aged care advocate service provides independent expert advice and guidance in a single session.
How quickly can I get support once I reach out?
We aim to respond within one business day. From there, timelines depend on the service, but we always strive to be as responsive as possible.
Can you provide ongoing support if my situation changes?
Yes. Our services are flexible and can adapt as your needs evolve. Whether your circumstances change gradually or unexpectedly, we can continue to support you every step of the way.
Do you offer services for urgent or time-sensitive situations?
Yes. Some of our services, such as MediFinder or aged care advocacy, can be prioritised to help you get timely advice and guidance when you need it most.
Are your services suitable for people in regional or remote areas?
Absolutely. We can deliver most services via phone or video, making expert guidance accessible no matter where you live in Australia.
